A bespoke piece of art can be a symbol of love and appreciation to a loved one, or an investment of joy for many years to come - so it’s really important to Samantha that she captures the essence behind your vision to bring your painting to life.

Commissioning art is an opportunity to become a part of it’s creation as you connect with the artist throughout the whole process.

Samantha enjoys working on private bespoke commissions and creating art which is unique and meaningful to her clients.

She works closely with her clients and would be delighted to talk about a commission, your budget, colour requirements, size and framing requirements, without any obligation.

Paintings are always in acrylic, but can be created on driftwood, reclaimed wood, canvas and box canvas of any size to suit your interior and requirements. Paintings can also be suitably framed.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS:

1) The first step to commission your bespoke piece is to send a few high quality photos via email to Samantha at Seascapesandsails@outlook.com.

2) Samantha will need your exact requirements (e.g. approx. size / framed or stretched canvas / colours / budget / theme of painting).

3) A brief description of Samantha's proposal will then be outlined to you, based on your requirements. A firm quotation will also be given.

4) Bespoke commissions take between three and four weeks to complete (although this may vary according to workload). Please also specify if you need the commission for a specific date.

5) Samantha will provide regular updates and work in progress pictures.

6) Once your painting is complete, a photograph of it will be sent to you to ensure you are happy. Should you wish Samantha to make any tweaks, she is happy to do these at no additional cost. Samantha will always make sure you are completely satisfied with the final piece before posting it out to you.

7) Full payment will be required and once this has been received, Samantha will ship your new painting out to you. She always ensures your artwork is securely packaged so as to fully protect it in transit. In the unlikely event that it arrives damaged or is lost in the post, either a full refund or replacement will be offered.
