Samantha is an artist based between London and West Sussex, UK. Her work combines her passions for sailing, scuba-diving and painting. She is an established artist, exhibiting her paintings in a number of galleries, exhibitions and events.
Inspired by her passions, Samantha's work endeavours to capture the solitude, freedom and introspective experience of sailing on the open seas. Specialising in scenes which reflect the sea, light and shoreline, she creates artwork which depicts the elemental tone and texture of the natural world.
Working in acrylic and oil, Samantha's work depicts the myriad of colours reflected by the sun and moonlight on an ever-changing sea. Capturing the untamed force of the ocean, the driving wind, the yachts heeling over or becalmed with their sails contrasting against the endless horizon, her paintings reflect the full spectrum of the sailing experience.
Samantha Louise produces a plethora of seascapes capturing all parts of the day. The use of light in her work is delightful
