Meet Samantha Louise

​

A full-time commercial artist who has enjoyed painting for over 20 years.  Samantha works out of her bright and airy art studio, where she spends most of her time creating her artworks.

​

Samantha's art reflects her emotional response to the coastal landscape around her, depicting the dramatic sea, vast skies, sunsets, gathering storms, horizons, tides, waves, light and clouds. Being surrounded by the glorious West Sussex coastal scenery, enables her to capture some of the essences of the wild and dramatic coastline.

Samantha's evocative and expressive paintings are reminiscent of earth's natural gifts and colour palettes combined with expressions of emotion and depth.

"The sea is my sanctuary and  I love to be on it, in it and under it. When I paint, there is no barrier between the subject, the paint and myself - it is total immersion on a most intimate level"
